Summary

4ImageTools (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a free, browser-based image toolkit. There is no account system and no server-side database — but this site does run Google AdSense advertising, which uses cookies and similar technologies. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what that means and how it lines up with the GDPR (EU), CCPA (California) and LGPD (Brazil).

This policy applies to 4ImageTools.com, one of a small family of independent tools published under 4Utilities:

Each site may run its own advertising and differ slightly depending on the tool; this page describes 4ImageTools specifically.

1. Data We Collect

• We do not require sign-up, login or any account to use 4ImageTools.
• We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number anywhere in the tools themselves.
• We do not run our own analytics or tracking scripts, and we do not keep a server-side database of user activity.
• If you email us (for example, through the Contact page), we receive whatever information you choose to include — that is data you send us directly and voluntarily, not data we collect automatically.
• Our advertising partner (Google) and our content-delivery and font providers may automatically receive limited technical data such as your IP address and browser type, as described in sections 3 and 4.

2. How Your Images Are Handled

This is the part that matters most for an image tool, so we want to be precise:

• Your images are never uploaded to us. When you open a file, your browser reads it directly from your device. All compression, conversion, resizing, cropping and background removal happen locally using JavaScript and WebAssembly.
• We have no server that receives, stores or processes your pictures. Because the work is done on your device, the tools keep working even if your connection drops after the page loads.
• The background-removal feature downloads an AI model file the first time you use it (see section 4). The model is downloaded to your browser; your image is not sent anywhere — it is processed locally by that model.
• We do not place your image data in cookies or local storage. When you close or reload the tab, the image is gone from memory.

3. Cookies & Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display ads, which is how this free tool pays for itself. To do that, Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies. Specifically:

• Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
• Where required by law (for example, in the EU/EEA, UK and Brazil), Google’s consent mechanism will ask for your permission before using cookies for personalized ads, and you can withdraw or change that consent at any time.

4. Third-Party Services

Beyond ourselves, a few third parties are involved in delivering this page. None of them ever receive the images you edit.

• Google AdSense — advertising, as described above. Subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — the typefaces on this site load from Google’s font servers, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
• jsDelivr (CDN) — the background-removal AI model is downloaded from the jsDelivr content-delivery network the first time you use that feature. jsDelivr receives a standard request for those model files (including your IP address), but never your image.

We do not sell, rent or share any personal information, because we do not collect any in the first place.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / LGPD)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. Because we do not maintain accounts or a database of users, most requests will relate to the cookies set by Google’s advertising, which you control directly through the opt-out links in section 3 and through your browser’s cookie settings. 6. Children’s Privacy

4ImageTools is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information through, for example, an email, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. Material changes will be shown by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
